– Cherry and violets. The nose is so crazy floral. There is a beautiful richness in the mouth and feels completely seamless. Turns to blackberry jam on the second day. Ummm…I could drink gallons of this.
– Fine nose of smoke and fruit. Very intense on the palate with nice acidity and just a touch of smoke and butter along with the fruit. I should drink more Chablis.
– Awesome. Bright and cold cherries. So “simple” and so pure. The most immediately approachable bottle I’ve had from Brun. Almost as good, but very diffferent from, the bottle of Yvon Metras Fleurie we had at PDC while we were in Montreal over Christmas. Went really well with the spicy chole curry I made for dinner.
– Much better acidity than the 2004 we had a while back. Honey and lime. Check back in a few years.
